Recruiting new instructors

Safety Services NL Motorcycle Training Program needs your help.......

We would like to recruit new instructors to help us in extending our services for the coming year. We have added two new course offerings in addition to the regular weekend and evening courses. This year there will be a 1 day "Experienced Rider or Refresher course" for seasoned riders and a 3-4 hr "Introductory Course" for anyone thinking of doing our course but would like an opportunity to try it. In addition to St John's, Corner Brook and Grand Falls, it is hoped to conduct courses in Goose Bay and Labrador City as well. The course is also offered in other areas throughout the Province depending on demand.

This year is expected to be a busy year for us all. We have revised some of the requirements for instructor candidates in training which will make it easier to recruit new instructors and to assisting all who are interested attain “Instructor” status in this current year.

If you have the basic requirements (2-3 years riding experience, acceptable riding / driving record etc.) and would like to be a part of our team of professionals, please call the office at 724-0210 and leave your contact information. If you live in the Grand Falls, Corner Brook area or surrounding communities, you may wish to join our instructor teams in these locations as well.

We will contact you by email or phone to let you know the date for a “meet and greet” night sometime soon. If you know of anyone (friends, family, coworkers etc.) who may also wish to become an instructor, please bring them along with you. There will be sufficient time for discussion and questions on many aspects of the course as well as our plans for the upcoming year.
